Carlos Lehite — Founder & CEO

KabCo Kitchens was founded in 2004 by Latin American entrepreneur Carlos Lehite. What began as a small remodeling service born from passion and purpose has grown into one of South Florida’s most respected design-build firms — built on trust, craftsmanship, and a commitment to excellence.

WHERE IT ALL BEGAN

In the early 2000s, we noticed a gap in the remodeling industry. Homeowners were often left to navigate complex renovations alone — guided more by price than by care. We saw an opportunity to do things differently: to offer a personalized, guided experience that made remodeling exciting, transparent, and seamless for first-time homeowners.

At first, we made house calls, to help reimagine kitchens with thoughtful design and practical solutions. The response was incredible. People wanted a remodeling company that truly listened, that delivered quality work with care and follow-through. By 2006, the business had outgrown our home-based beginnings, and we proudly opened our first showroom in Miramar, Florida.

Following the opening of KabCo’s first showroom in Miramar, Carlos’s wife, Julie Lehite, joined full-time, helping shape the company’s design direction and client experience. As Creative Director of KabCo Kitchens, Julie Lehite leads the brand’s creative vision and showroom experience. With a refined sense of style and a passion for purposeful design, she ensures that each KabCo space is both beautiful and intelligently built for how people live.  Her background in design and her instinct for visual storytelling have helped shape KabCo’s identity as a brand defined by elegance, warmth, and precision.

Growing with Our Clients

Over the years, KabCo Kitchens expanded to serve a growing community of homeowners, builders, and designers. We relocated to Pembroke Pines, where our flagship showroom remains today, and later opened additional showrooms in North Miami, Pinecrest, and West Palm Beach. With each new space, we’ve stayed true to our mission — to provide homeowners with an inspired environment where ideas come to life, guided by expert designers and a team that truly cares.

Beyond Kitchens

As our clients’ needs evolved, so did our craft. KabCo’s services expanded beyond kitchens to include bathrooms, closets, custom millwork, flooring, and outdoor living spaces — all with the same attention to design detail and superior construction. We also introduced KabCo Cucine, our exclusive line of fine Italian cabinetry and interior doors — a collection that blends European sophistication with the durability and function our clients love.
